Voltage converter with microcontroller
Jedlinský, Lukáš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
In these baccalaureate work is buckthorn power supply mobile computer from automobile nets. Main thought is using suspense raising equable changers with high working frequency. To regulation and operating sources will used microprocessor series AT Tiny. Will also be effected project programmatic equipment and his implementation to the integrated perimeter and project PCB and by herself realization hereof perimeter.
Desing of supplementary coding switching unit
Štefl, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with the area of controlling and safety technology for the railway transportation. The problems of the design and practical realization of an functional sample of switching unit supplying the ends of a track circuit are solved here. The switching unit enables the operation of the train control system. The outline of the design is formed by a power switch operated with a microprocessor. In addition, for the increase in safety the switching unit contains a control processor, which is controlling the right function of a work microprocessor and the failure-free state of a power switch.
Microprocessor system for robot controll
Novotný, Peter ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the control of industrial manipulator model by a microprocessor system. The first part is devoted to familiarization with the problem of controlling manipulators and servos. The second part contains description of mechanical construction, and design of microprocessor system and electronics needed for communication with PC and servos control. The last part of thesis consists of the microprocessor software.
Group of Walking Minirobots - Movement Synchronisation
Mihál, Jakub ; Florián, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of the work presented here is to get acquainted with the construction of the Robonova-I humanoid robot and with Ing. Florián’s dissertation “Control unit for humanoid robot”. Both the construction and the dissertation conclusions were tested, compared and, in the next part of the work, evaluated. Finally, a new software solution to the robot control and wireless communication was worked out.
HF RFID tag emulator
Neužil, Ondřej ; Derbek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
This thesis contains the basic information about the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. It describes its main principles and usage. The main goal of this thesis is to design a RFID tag emulator for HF band according standard ISO 15693 that should emulate the long-range contactless smart card. The design includes the selection of the suitable components, such as a microprocessor - the core of the whole emulator, or calculation of the efficient integrated coil dimensions on a printed circuit and software for communication between the RFID reader card and the emulator.
Self-Testing of Microcontrollers
Denk, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with functional safety of electronic systems. Specifically, it focuses on self-testing of the microprocessor and its peripherals at the software level. The main aim of the thesis is to design and implement a set of functions written in programming language C or assembly language, which automatically test the selected areas of the microcontroller. Resources and methods used in the implemented solution also aim to meet the requirements according to the safety standard IEC 60730-1, Annex H, Software Class B. The microcontroller NXP LPC55S69 was chosen as a hardware platform. It consists of two ARM Cortex-M33 cores. As a result, the example application is provided, which uses implemented test functions at the run-time. Example application also contains a graphical user interface with fault injection ability.
DC motor controler with feedback
Dundáček, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with DC motor control. Main goal was design and realization of DC motor controler module with feedback. The first part dwells on methods for DC motor control and HW design of control module. The second part describes development of software for the module, testing and sums up results.
Image processing algorithms in eight-bit microcontroller
Rébl, Miroslav ; Fajmon, Petr (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of master thesis was to investigate a simple camera and processor Atmel AVR unit implementation. Thesis describes how to get image from C3088 module and management over the bank of camera registers. Work includes limitation draft for this way of processing the information. Thesis also solves an exemplary model for object recognition using this implementation.
Design of Robot end effector with automatic tool exchange
Jirges, Radek ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design an end effector for a small robot for testing of devices with a touchscreen. The effector has to communicate with the robot via serial interface and provide feedback about used downforce. Another requirement was possibility of automatic tool change. Measuring of downforce, signal processing, and communication with robot ensures custom electronics based on STM32 microprocessor and piezoresistive sensor. The mechanism of tool change was inspired by the system used with industrial robots but customized for this application. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype of a stylus for devices with a touchscreen which provides feedback about the downforce on display and possibility of automatic tool change. The main benefit of this solution is the possibility of changing the tool for the one with one or more styluses for testing gesture-based interface what is indispensable in these days.
Computer simulator for education
Friml, Dominik ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is divided into several parts. The first part consists of an introduction to individual parts of a processor and some of its peripheries. Next part of thesis is a research of existing educational and demonstrative tools usable in education. Results of the research were compiled into requirements for educational system. Using those requirements, and design of an architecture for educational processor for education, not only on FEEC BUT was created. As a next step, there is described a procedure, that led to a creation of a working simulator of the designed processor. Last part of this thesis is a design of several educational exercises, that demonstrates principles of computers and programming in a machine code and an assembly language.
